Update 6th June 2022; There is some good news for the participants in Masters World Cup Tokyo. The Japanese government announced recently to ease entry conditions for visitors to Japan as follows: All visitors from Blue Category countries (which includes all currently registered World Cup countries) no longer need to show a COVID-19 vaccination certificate or take a PCR test at the Japanese airport to enter Japan.. Also, all visitors from Blue Category countries no longer need to do quarantine after entering Japan. However current rules still require all travelers to Japan to have a negative PCR certificate acquired within 72 hours of departure of their home country.
